The Celeron is obviously,IMHO, a "Chinese Wall" to keep the barbarians out of the high ASP market. This scorched earth approach to marketing only works while the speed differences between the high end and low end are significant.

Intel is racing to 600 MHZ with AMD in tow. Q1 should be interesting since Intel should focus on production of their high end chips letting "wall down" just a little bit.
