Commissions should play no part at all in the decision to buy or sell a stock. My last GRNO trade was a sale of 700 shares at $7.00 on April 1. The principal was $4,900. The commission was $20 plus $0.17 S.E.C. fee. Are you using a full-service broker? If so, you might want to look into an on-line discount broker.

I can buy 1,000 shares with the money I got for my 700 shares. That will cost me another $20 commission. So for $40 and a little bit of my time, I get 300 shares of GRNO. That's less than $0.14 per share for each of those 300 shares.
