BRD Brigus Gold Reports High Grade Drill Results at Black Fox finance.yahoo.com HALIFAX, Nova Scotia--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Brigus Gold Corp. (“Brigus” or the “Company”) (NYSE MKT: BRD; TSX: BRD) is pleased to report that initial resource expansion drilling on the lower East zone at the Black Fox underground mine is confirming the continuity of high grade gold over significant widths. All of these results are located outside of the current reserves. The drilling is being performed 326 metres (m) below the surface. "These high grade drilling results show strong continuity while extending the Black Fox orebody for over 200 metres along strike. The orebody remains open for further expansion along strike as well as down dip," said Wade Dawe, Brigus Gold’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. “These results demonstrate the excellent potential to significantly expand gold reserves and increase the life of mine at Black Fox.” ..more
