I saw the movie last night. After watching Mystery Men, US2 was still pretty poor.

JCVD was not so bad. It was the supporting cast and the lack of character development.

They did a poor job of casting the General, and the guy who headed the facility.

The movie moved much to fast to develop characters.

The dialogue was weak but even more inappropriate given the situations.

The ability of people to just sneak into and out of the building without the army noticing was quite pathetic.

US2 does not even deserve the time that I have taken to review it.

Maybe the teenagers will like it. I'm sure they will enjoy the bar scenes.

The James Bond and girl relationship (tag along becuase I need you or just can't get rid of you) just didn't sell. The reporter was a prop and a poor one. If you are going to do close-ups that often, make sure the lady is beautiful!

It was nice to see the former starting running back of The University of Akron (Go Zips!!), James Black, in his fourth or fifth movie. He's a real comedian. It was interesting to see him act serious for the 30 seconds before he was killed. He's the guy who said something like, "Speed it up... Don't make it a love affair."
