This is the latest:
Hannah has not had the surgery, The doctor has put it off for a day, or so, as she had a 101 degree fever this morning. I will let you all in on the change in surgery plans. Her Grandmother is in town, from the Bay Area, and she is only planning to be here for a few days.
Now the twilight zone, stuff: :)
I have not found the time to tell you all, but her Father is from the Bay Area you realize, and he recently showed me a picture of his older sister and her new husband. Jeff is much younger than I am, and went to a different Church from me. My mouth dropped open, because his sister used to go to my Church, when I lived in California. She got married, and moved away. Now she is living in the Bay Area, is re-married and going a Church that she attended as teenager. She has not been in touch with anyone.
But, she was the roomate of a close friend who moved out of the Bay Area. I have not seen his sister since she and I were in our friend's wedding.
This friend of mine was the very same friend whose Father has the infection, from heart surgery.
This is too funny, and I cannot believe the way this all happened at once!:)
So, Jeff called his sister on the phone and it was funny! He is very homesick as his entire family is there. We always discuss the Bay Area weather! He is very attached to his family although his wife is from here, and wanted to live away from his family. Her parents died and she is not used to families.
Jeff is my neighbor now, and this morning his Mother said, "I have been telling everyone this story!" So, it is a small world afterall.
That is just one more thing!
BTW, please pray for his sister as she and her new husband are in a nasty custody battle with her previous husband. They are all Christians too!
