Bush never would have invaded Iraq if not for oil. Absolutely not. Bush lied to us and told us invading Iraq was because of terrorism and Al Qaida, then 57 other reasons, none of which were true. But there were other countries that are actually connected with Al Qaida, while Iraq was not.

So why didn't Bush invade Somalia? Yemen? Pakistan? Even Syria with Hezbollah? Because there was no oil. Also explains why Bush pulled out of Afghanistan before the job was done. No oil.
