MCI--That is no surprise. Genghis Cohen, Jewish Mongolian husband of Abby J., said so yesterday on Yahoo--that BLS could never outbid WCOM. BLS stands for BULLSHEEUT. What is Bernie Ebbers doing in the Big E-Z if he didn't want sprint. With WCOM's market cap, there's no way BLS could top their offer. Probably BLS just did it to piss off WCOM and make them pay more, and to further entice Qwest. Now that's who BLS will end up with. Too bad they didn't get into the M&A game earlier when the tall dogs were pissin--now they're reduced to making a ridiculuous 100BB hail Mary that exceeds their own market cap--not exactly an acquisition, that! Sprint must be happy though, as this forced WCOM to up their ante--game theory in action. The thing about operators is, they never make any money off their biz, but they make a bundle being acquired!
