Burt - Re: " Jimmy Rodgers & Elaine G."

Your observation on "failing up" is dead on. It can be seen all the time - it is even more common within companies.

As for Mr. Rodgers - Perhaps one of us should e-mail a question to CNBC Squalk box for Friday mornings when Jimmy is on quite frequently. The question - What is your profit/loss on Intel transactions?

As for Elaine and Joe Granville - It appears that ONE CORECT CALL establishes an industrty reputation, completely obscuring all other incorrect calls.

This reminds me of sports - for example - does any one remember how many home runs Roger Maris hit in 1959, 1960, and 1962? I'll bet everyone remembers the 1961 number!
