Sarkie, Everyone must do what they believe is right. You invested in GNET on that premise. You can sell that stock on that premise as well (it went up Friday I believe). You can insulate your position with options or other trading strategies if you believe the short term is at risk due to this. My belief, and it is a strongly held one, is that companies which behave in this manner must be held accountable, and further that lawyers and reporters occupy a position in this society which enables them do impose that accountability most effectively. I am not suggesting that a class action would bring appropriate redress, for it would not. But what it would do, IMO, is bring about the appropriate behavioral response by SI. I have absolutely no confidence that SI will exhibit the appropriate behavior based solely on the reaction of its customers. Do you? I believe that a media story would be preferable to a lawsuit. I mentioned earlier that I had contacted the WSJ. I have heard back from one of their reporters and supplied more information. Out of respect for your position, Sarkie, I will not post the reporters' e-mail address here publicly. I will, however, supply it to whoever asks me for it via PM or e-mail. The reporter is looking for people to go on the record about what happened, as well as looking for background material for a story. I recognize you may not be happy with me for doing this, but I feel it is the appropriate way to respond to SI's behavior. While it may harm GNET shareholders and their dependents, a group which would include you and your child(ren), I would suggest that the harm to GNET shareholders will occur because of the actions and inactions of GNET management, not because the truth came to light.
Have a good weekend,
