Gentleman,

I have not received a response yet from anyone at Novell to an Email I sent on 10/17, so I thought I'd give it one more try. As a Novell investor, I would appreciate a response.

As a follow up to the email from Joe Antol, I would like some
answers also. I sold and installed Novell products for ten years, and
have always believed in your products. I still do. After leaving the
company I had worked for, I invested heavily in the Novell I believed so strongly in.

What is going on over there? The marketing efforts from the "new
Novell" seem extremely weak, and as Joe pointed out, many significant
press releases from your organization are non-existant. Why is there no news regarding initial sales of IntraNetware? Microsoft was blowing
smoke all over after initially releasing NT in July. Are sales that bad?

The most significant news since IntraNetware, the NDS agreement with IBM, Caldera and Oracle wasn't even acknowledged in any Novell press release that I'm aware of. Instead we read about them in other companies press releases. This situation is UNEXPLAINABLE. Why is this?

What about news on the CEO search? How in the HELL did Novell expect to be able to maintain their position for months without a permanent CEO? Why was Bob Frankenburg let go with no permanent replacement, or even potential replacements in line? I feel I deserve an answer as to who is being considered.

The whole thing is just too fishy. Who in their right mind would can the CEO of a perceived dying company, then announce they are going to take 4-6 months to replace him. Couple this with an apparent intention to suppress significant news and you have a situation that defies incompetence.

Now rumors are starting that Novell might miss their quarter again! WHAT IS GOING ON? The only explanation that seems remotely reasonable is that you are intentionally driving the stock price down for some kind of low ball buy out. Strange coincidence that John Young is now on Lucent's board.

I would appreciate hearing back from someone this time.

What a disappointment!!
