Jim, I don't think you understand. Intel already has a dual-channel RDRAM chipset in the 840. If 820E has dual channels, there would be very little use for 840. (BTW, 820 already has dual-processing support.)

As for memory limitation, remember that a single RDRAM channel is limited to 32 RDRAM devices. With four RIMMs, that translates to eight devices per RIMM. Right now, we have 128 Mbit devices out there now. That translates to a maximum of 512 MB for the 820E. Once 256 Mbit RDRAM devices are released, that limit will go to 1 MB.
