michail: 2 things... -> you're dead on with the analyst's "upgrades" day of earnings (ie. earnings come out in the pm, they come out with an upgrade am). i'm wondering, though, if the 'reliability' of this pattern changes now that reg FD is in place? before, my assumption was that the firm had some pretty solid inside information...now, it's more guesswork. -> a russian person was arrested at the hacker's convention in las vegas: cnn.com
