dabum, I commend you on your service. You have always seemed to have a level head. Is Hackworth for example correct on how the Nam War was ran, in your opinion? He is not alone in his opinions. Is Hackworth correct on the Irag war? His opinion appears to be that we are fighting this terriorist war incorrectly, and had other priorities that we should have taken care of first, other than Irag. Hackworth to a certain extent takes the other side on issues like this, but he usually makes a lot of sense, because he is has been there and there and there too. In your opinion did we get into the Nam because of a series of political and military errors? If not why then? Were there any positives from Nam, in hindsight? This is a little personal but does it bother you and other real NAM vets, Kerry included, that we lost? I agree with you on your comments about Kerry. None the less I do not like what the Repubs are doing with it, nor did I appreciate what Bush and Co did to McCain and McClellan. I find it distasteful and I think it sets a bad precident. It appears to me our society is losing moral character, and no one but 'society' is to blame.
