Politics.. a new axis amongst the mullahs..

Maulana Fazlur Rahman the main wheeler dealer( his father never supported the partition in 1947) who has never had any good relationship with the official agencies and also does not agree with the Jamaat-e-Islami's militant Kashmir and anti-India policy is emerging as a balancing factor. The Indian perception that Islamic alliance may increase the polarization may not be correct as the mainstay of the alliance is Fazl and he is not pro-Kashmir activism or anti- India mullah. Although on Taliban he had his share of mistakes, after losing the battle for Taliban, Maulana Fazlur Rahman has been left without a radical anti-American agenda and would like to prove that he is more moderate than Qazi sahib, who unlike him has been maintaining very good relations with the Americans. The game is now in the hands of Maulana Fazlur Rahman. it is Fazl who is very near to Bhutto who would like to prove his credentials of middle to the road approach.
