Hey, David, I'm one of those Mac fanatics who got out of school and went to work on an IBM Aptiva running Win95. I've also worked on an IBM PS2, a GW2000, and an HP 486 and Vectra, and I can tell you that my greatest joy comes from going home and cranking up my Mac LCIII. "Product loyalty" is not a term that sells much stock anymore, I suppose, but it still means a lot to me to know that I can buy another Mac when (and if) my LCIII ever gives out on me.
I've even been lobbying for the purchase of a couple PowerPC Macs for our office, but our computer network guru gets bug-eyed when he thinks about trying to hook up a Mac to the existing network. I don't know why that is, exactly.
The way I have it figured, the educational market has been responsible for the majority of Apple's success in the past. Where else have the sales come from?
Good luck today, David.
