VitalStream Holdings - VSTH-OTCBB
Buy - Price 1.00 on Nov. 15
by Merriman Curhan Ford
Initiating coverage at Buy. Leveraging its content-delivery network (CDN), VSTH offers rich media and video-streaming services. Adoption of broadband connectivity is driving deployment of multimedia content (video, music, flash-based ads)....VitalStream grew revenues during [the]first nine months of FY05 by 60% year-over-year, and we expect y/y growth into FY06 in the 30% to 40% range....Revenues are projected to reach $15.3 million in FY05 (up 54%) and $21.0 million in FY06 (up 37%)....We expect VSTH to break into net income profitability in early FY07....We like the company's differentiated media-management software, [flash-content-streaming] expertise, rapidly growing market [and] recurring revenue model. At the end of September, the company had about $7 million in cash and restricted cash on its balance sheet...Among catalysts we believe could lead an upside to our estimates: listing on the Nasdaq.

At $1 per share, VitalStream is valued at a $84 million market cap (based on a fully diluted share count, including 18.7 million warrants and options in the money) and at $71 million enterprise value.

The above per Barron's.
