It (clearly) does not say that the reduction in revenue to Ireland was "larger then all of their austerity measures".

It clearly does not use those words, but it clearly implies that.

If the reduction in revenue in Ireland was not larger than the cut in government spending, than the austerity measures (at least those involving spending cuts, I'm using the two terms synonymously) where not the cause of the higher budget deficits.

If they where not the cause of the budget deficits, than the statement you defended was false - "Notice that Ireland has the largest deficit, at 14.7%. This is in spite of (or more aptly because of) the enactment of severe austerity measures"
