Great analysis! The French aren't concerned with invading a Moslem country since their own country, due to their gallic insouciance (read: sloth & stupidity) is currently involved, very deeply, in a Muslim invasion on its own territoire. And they are losing it, inch by inch, day by day. In a country of 60 million people, they are facing an installed base of 6-7 million already, with a higher growth rate. France, with its boulevardier mentality, has never in modern times been capable of making a hard decision. As Tennessee Williams said in a different context, they are "dependent on the kindness of strangers." Tant pis for les francais, sans aucun doubt. Maybe the French will throw a "Sauvez la France" party and this time, no one will show up?

Of course, this is not the first Muslim invasion of Europe, but it might eventually be the most successful. In the sixteenth century, the Ottoman Empire which had displaced the Christian Empire headquartered in Constantinople, held all of North Africa, the Middle East, Arabia, and Asia Minor and owned a lot of prime Europe--holding Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Hungary, Croatia, and Serbia. Suleiman almost conquered Vienna, which would have opened the gate to the rest of Germany.
