Based on January 31 info. I looked at, the stock had a price earnings ratio of 72, a price sales ratio of 16.2, and a current market price of $54 7/8. These, relatively speaking, are pretty big numbers (PE & PSR based on the four quarters ended 12/96). Earnings for the year ended 9/96 were .62/share. Projected earnings are $1.18/share for 9/97 and $1.51 for 9/98 (both before the projected 3 for 2 stock split). The stock price bounces around quite a bit, and institutions own something like 70% of the stock. If you like living in the fast lane, short it.
