Omnipotent? Bill G? C'mon Bernard, you are getting a bit over the top there. Sure, I use Windows2000 and always thought Apple a joke, but Bill G doesn't rate 'omnipotent' in my book.

I've never heard of a private monopoly which didn't operate under some government protection such as licensing, territory or some such, which I'd consider in the slightest hazardous to my financial health.

Deregulation of supporting law takes care of most monopolies. For example, we see worries about electricity shortages in San Diego. Just deregulate the whole thing and let xuppliers charge what the market will bear. Control pollution and all will be solved.

Simple!
