Which words? The words in quote marks in that post where mine. I'm the original source of them. The first post to use those exact words was here - Message 26561275, then I used them again here Message 26561847, I used other formulations with similar meanings at least another couple of times. I don't see the need to keep linking back to my own posts, but hopefully it will make you happy. Now please actually respond to the words that you had me link to.

Once again, please respond directly to this specific point -

or to put it another way (you can respond to either formulation as you wish)

If the spending cuts did not decrease revenue more than they decreased the amount spent, than the spending cuts did not increase the deficit, and so where not the cause of the higher deficits in Ireland.
