I have been taking a free ride on this thread and just learning. I am much more familiar with computer HW stocks. IMHO Intel and Microsoft are both in danger of losing their near monopoly positions because of DEC's Alpha, SUN's java, Network Computers and computing, AMD, CYRIX, .... Just commenting because anyone interested in Intel or Microsoft should do a lot of research before paying the high premiums. On the other hand, these have been great stocks for a number of years.
