A national geopolitical policy in which the entire world is regarded as the appropriate sphere for a state's influence. Well in that America is number 1, the best, the outstanding, being a good compassionate person means spreading it around. The best defense against bad, stupid, evil influence is a good influence offense. And not having a liar and rapist as President makes it a whole lot easier.
