ATM's and gloves.

Tried to get cash this morning at both ATM's at my local Bank of America branch. Was wearing beaded cotton parade gloves. Very light gloves.

Removed the left-hand glove to get my debit card from my wallet. Inserted the card, typed in my PIN on the keypad. Asterisks appeared on the touch display.

But could go no farther. Touch screen was insensitive. Evidently I was using the right, gloved hand.

I watched several people work the ATM successfully.

Didn't really figure it out myself. Removed the right-hand glove as a matter of comfort. Tried again; it worked.

Are ATMs making the coronavirus crisis worse?
