This is probably true in insurance and soft drinks. In technology, the value of the company is largely in the employees.

I think the HP Way should start to be injected into the options discussions. What did Dave and Bill do and say? Ater all, they were the two greatest contributors to American business, ever. All that is good in Silicon Valley has its roots in their efforts and THEIR company.
