Sorry, Chuck. I was in Vietnam Veterans Against the War--Boston office. I met Kerry back then. His military service is the real deal and beyond question. During those days there were no questions about his military service. The questions were whether or not Kerry was using VVAW for his own political gain. Kerry essentially wanted to lead the whole organization, but the organization was centrally grassroots organized and wanted no leader at the top. Here's a difference about Kerry you might like. When the war ended and the Peace Movement folded its tents, Kerry went on to become a prosecuter; I went on to manage rock n' roll bands. Think you should give Kerry a bit of credit for this decision?
