Aaron, who knows what will happen in two or three years?

Since Intel has been a leader for the past six or seven years, why would they give up their dominant position now? MSFT produces software and although the software is full of bugs, MSFT has done well.

By contrast, Intel produces microprocessors. And Intel looks forward to the next leap in computers.

MSFT spends its time trying to keep up with Netscape and developing software that will sell this Christmas.

Some pundit has said it before. MSFT will spend its money developing software. (And there is nothing wrong with that). But who knows where Intel will go?
