A very lengthy article well worth the read that mostly concludes the result will be a weaker jet stream for Winter and wider variability of extremes that would come with a more highly meridional flow.
It seems to be a reciprocal Winter vs. Summer situation to the stratospheric temperatures in the Antarctic.
