Thanks, Joan, I loved Jarmusch's earlier movies, but did not see that one, and I will rent it. We used to go to movies all the time, and then after we had kids, we never went anymore. Now they are old enough to leave home alone for a few hours, but I was sick for a while, and now I am struggling with my inner clock having changed, so that I wake up early and get sleepy early. My solution is to go to matinees, and I like to drive into D.C. and go to one of the Cineplex Odeons and see things there on Sunday afternoons (matinees are cheaper, too!). I am looking forward to many new movies, Wim Wenders has a new one, and I want to see "An Ideal Husband," and "Run, Lola, Run," and "The Winslow Boy."
I also take Nick to the movies, he likes movies, but he doesn't like sex or violence. He has seen the new "Star Wars" six times, thank goodness he is old enough to see it alone at a matinee at the local multiplex. |
