Did you happen to notice the place and show prices on Empire Maker (5.80, 4.40 for a 5-2 shot)? This is that oft-repeated pattern of crazy place and show prices on Derby favorites that I told you about. THere's a ton of bad money in these pools. I've exploited this on occasion - when appropriate. Unfortunately, I wasn't a big enough fan of Empire Maker to do it this time.
