Ya, well what else is Ballmer going to say. In Canada BCE had a telephone monopoly and they argued against an open competive market. In the end, the competition and the deregulation worked out for the best for everyone, including BCE. Didn't things work out for AT&T in its breakup. Everything will be fine for MSFT in the end too, it's just the stock market pain now. Everything bounces back, if you don't go broke in the meantime.
