One need only watch a Fox News broadcast a few minutes to see the spin to the neocon platform. As a matter of fact, having worked in journalism and broadcast news many years, objectivity is a primary goal, and is met every day by hard working ethical reporters producers and editors. You won't find them at Fox. It is true that other broadcasters may occasionally skew to the left or right but if the news operation is commited to quality, it will all come out in the wash, and the viewer gets a balanced view. Unfortunately, TV News has steadily gone down hill with media consolidation gaining momentum since the 80's. When you have accountants and sales people and movie companies and jet engine makers running news operations you get... what you would expect. I would continue to encourage anyone here to contact their federal lawmakers and urge them to roll back the FCC giveway to the conglomerates. It is not too late. mediareform.net
