Yes Lorne, I have. The Prophet converted a lot of bedouins who roamed the desert and did not particularly believe in God. There were others who were Pagan worshippers. Christians did not fall in this category as the Prophet had already stated that his teachings are an extension of those of Christ and Moses. And to convert those folks (bedoiun non believers) he put the fear of heavenly punishment in them. I went to a Christian school and I heard the Christian priests say the same sort of thing. They did not tell us which God to believe in, all they said was to believe in God or else the unbelievers would be doomed. The Jews should be very well aware of the havoc that singular hate more so a baseless form of hate can cause. And I am kind of bemused to see some of them impose the same sort of blind hate that their ancestors were subjected to resulting in the holocaust.
