Ross, unsure of what you're trying to say. This product is an internet e-mail (SMTP) scanner only. It does not scan FTP nor HTTP sessions. Having experience with SMTP, virus scanning should have a very small impact upon the performance. Most internet e-mail messages take more than a few minutes to reach their destination, so an extra second or two for scanning should be minimal. Other products to perform FTP and HTTP scanning I bet are in the works, and you can be sure performance is a highly critical feature.
