His track record speaks for itself. By the time 'Flex see's a major deployment, the ITU-T will adopt a v.pcm standard, there will be no more 'flex or x2, and 3Com will have captured 50% of the market. There will be a consolidation between various players such as Boca, Zoom, Hayes, Diamon.
