about the Voisey Bay drilling results and why the drillings continue
on a different target ???? Here's is the article by analysts Doug Leishman and Art Ettlinger:
We recommend the shares of junior gold explorer NDT Ventures Ltd.
(NDE-VSE'$0.51, phone 888-338-2200) because of its experienced management, strong cash position and a recent property acquisition
in Brazil.
NDT has about $6.8 million cash in its treasury. This year it will
complete drill programs on several projects in the Labrador area as
part of a $2.7 million exploration program.
The company recently signed an option agreement that gives it right
to earn a 100 per cent interest in 86 properties in the Quadrilateral Ferrifero gold district, in Minas Gerais, Brazil.
The Quad is estimated to have produced about 25 million ounces of
gold from five major mines, at a weighted average grade of 9.7 grams per ton of gold.
Located within The Quad are the Sao Bento mine, now being upgraded
by Eldorado Gold, and the Morro Velho complex, which is estimated to
contain more than 11 million ounces of gold.
NDT plans to spend about $11 million for property expansion over the
next 12 months.
NDT's chairman is Donald McLeod, who heads the Northair Group of
companies and has more than 40 years of mining experience. President
Fred Hewett is a professional engineer with more than 30 years
experience in the industry.
Vice-president exploration Charlie Dearin has a long history in the
exploration industry.
We believe the quality of the management team, and a cash value of
$0.27 a share presents an attractive speculative investment opportuni-
ty with a minimum of downside risk.
Over the past year, its shares have traded as low as $0.41 and as high as $1.45.
