Dying CAP was from Maxwell's letter and not entirely from the original Pat's post. Here are three points from the post:

6) private placement for $15M is complete and will be announced soon

7) shipped 8Mbps modems to France for large test not announced(French co. wants to wait till equipment is unpacked and running) [I asked if this was Alcatel and Carlini hesitated and said, "We're talking to them.]

8) Telstra RFP now out to 3 or 4 vendors and AMTX/NEC (Australia) are likely winners as they're the test partners and the only ones who have 6 Mbps. Time frame: numbers submitted between now and end of Sept., 60 days till bid awarded, deployment first of year.
