MD jr's company has a 30 percent tax inducement to relocate to canada....pretty hard to pass up... the vancouver operation is going well, and thus far, it appears that it will continue... the only issue as i understand it is that the 30% tax benefit only applies to canadian hires...MD jr. says he has a bit of tough time finding qualified people....he wanted to bring more staff up from LA, but the management said no... ultimately there will be a whole new Vfx industry developing in vancouver (and toronto)
