Bernie, I also agree with you for what it is worth (from a relatively inactive lurker). Similar, perhaps, to reasons for unlisted/unpublished phone numbers, I'm sure that there are (a few) bona fide reasons for anonymity on the internet, but it makes even fundamental due diligence (of that person) difficult. From my cursory perspective, it appears that the majority of participants on this thread are honest, forthright, and collectively provide a broad range of investing experience. Hopefully, most are trading (especially the so-called penny stocks) with appropriate, risk-associated portfolio allocations. Yet, blindly following a clandestine financial "advisor" is naive (regardless of the investor's/trader's level of sophistication) and certainly carries higher risks that may not provide correspondingly higher rewards.
