Again with the simplistic view of the free market and human behavior! If I were one of the best, brightest and most experienced at my specialty, perhaps I would try to make the most money. Or I might try to work where I think I might do the most good. For many people, that would be the government. Besdies, as I pointed out in an earlier post which I guess you missed, the most money often goes to those who have done a stint in the government.
