I love this part: Trueger blames a big downdraft in e-commerce shares for pushing London Pacific's (LDP: news, msgs) stock down along with other Internet incubators such as CMGI (CMGI: news, msgs) and Internet Capital Group (ICGE: news, msgs). Ironically, London Pacific, a diverse financial services firm that also backs technology startups, hadn't invested in any e-commerce firms. Instead, it's been cashing in on fiber optic and chip deals.
