YORKTON/NDT (a 52 week statistical review)
Hi Jenny,
I bought my first NDT shares in May 1995, this was my first investment in the "Junior or speculative markets", it took me quite a while to realize that the driving force behind these jr markets was "promotion and brokerage companies" OK so I was naive, but I try to learn fast.
Over a year ago I started subsribing to CANADA STOCKWATCH, this is a truly great site for the smaller investor requiring access to the kind of statistics that used to be only available to brokerage houses. On Oct 3/96 they started providing daily stock stats allowing us to follow the daily trading patterns and players. On Oct 3/96 I started watching the relationship of Yorkton and NDT and discovered that Yorkton (and probabaly others) are worth less than scum when it comes to shareholder values, this obviously done with NDT support.
For what it's worth I have followed Yorkton/NDT daily and today represents the first full year (52 weeks) of statistics that I have been maintaining. Following is a summary of those statistics for anyone that might be interested.
By the way, please observe a few things; 1. the years low is 29 cents (not 41) 2. note how much of a seller Yorkton is and think about why they are recommending small investors BUY. 3. Check out other Yorkton BUY recommends and see what positions they have taken over time (example; Indomin IRL, recommend BUY but are big time seller)
