Sometimes I think the "Synagogue of Satan" is your brain.

Why don't you give up on immersing yourself in the study of that backwards, superstitious and inept OT Israel, and focus on true cultures like the ancient Greeks or Chinese. They were the advanced, learned ones -- the old Israelites were 1/2 step from the cave they had recently crawled out of. That's why the Egyptians took them as slaves.
