The arab-American vote might seem like a small insignificant constituency, but they are concentrated in some important states like OH and MI. A swing of 50,000 votes in either one of those states could make a big difference in this election. That doesn't mean 50,000 arab-Americans suddenly vote for a Democrat. It means 25,000 who voted for Bush in 2000, now are voting for Kerry. That's a 1% swing in those states.
