Dennis,
Just more speculating....franchise deal? Anything is possible, but I figure we're likely still in good hands either way at this point. The real question is which flea collar company to invest in?! My cuz sent me an interesting article about RAIN from Oz from the AOL motley fool...something about the likelihood of the price dropping after all of this good news due to the likelihood of past life on Mars, and how there aren't any plans to build there yet...with a little note about it likely being due to the lack of rainforests. Was all moderately amusing. I guess for now RAIN news will be a little slower for a while. Almost time to start counting down to the DW Animal Kingdom opening in 1998(I think?). Supposedly will have access from inside and outside the park, but how many RAINs will truly be needed at DW? Hopefully a number equivalent to Mickey ears. I think DANB will be ok in the long haul as well. However, the concern is the current doldrums, although if your theory holds true an upcoming good quarterly announcement on 8/31 should get some higher prices over the next 2 weeks. The store in Hollywood still tends to be a heckuva money maker. Summer all year round doesn't hurt either. Another interesting one possibly worth following is WON. Sports and Rec. now has the former Home Depot Canada guys at the helm, and looks like they may get a chance to turn things around as Sports Authority is apparently fizzling a bit. Maybe a chance to do a Wal-Mart and trade positions like once happened with K-Mart. If does, still not likely for another year at least. However, they're anticipating a change of names to something recognizable (marketing) by the end of the year. Also, over the last 2 weeks they have been creeping up, and with there not being news, but earnings to be announced over the next 2 weeks, kind of makes your theory interesting again. I can't see there being any way income would be too great at this point. Looking forward to seeing your update on DANB, Terry. If it doesn't look good, lie! One last aside...if any of you all like to cook, the rainforest website gives you recipes for Rasta Pasta and Monkey Business(bread pudding). However, if it comes out poorly you can't tell anyone where the recipes are from.
