My computer is about 4 years old. I bought it about the time they were changing from Windows 8.1 to 10. I never made the change, though, I believe it is on my computer, ready to install.
Someone suggested I unload the programs before the upgrade, then reload them, which requires the computer key. What is that and what does it look like? I don't recall getting a CD with the purchase (from Best Buy).
