I don't read anything CIBC has to say about anything. They are a joke. Even Li Ka Shing knew that when he sold his stake in it last year.

I'm not sure what you are saying. The way I see it is that plays in unstable countries like Canada will attract the lions share of positive interest. Unstable areas like South America are becoming, thanks to Bush, dangerous for us to invest in. Best to hedge your holdings and know your plays and not be caught with too much in South America and other areas. The MIddle East and South Asian (not Southeast Asia or China or Mongolia) are powder kegs. Anything ending in 'stan' is good to avoid because if, again, that genius in the White House decides to go after Irans oil using Israel to attack with nuclear weapons then the whole area will erupt into a world war as India goes to war with Pakistan which has nuclear weapons also. That whole area is going to erupt very soon and to invest there is not the greatest idea. Not too concerned about Turkey.
