Passover Massacre Was Funded by Syrian Hamas (IsraelNN.com) According to ‘Abbas al-Sayyad, the mastermind of the Passover Massacre in Netanya and head of the Hamas in Tul Karem, the funding for the terrorist bombing was arranged by Hamas headquarters in Syria. Al-Sayyad said that, whenever he needed funds for terrorist operations, he would call the Syrian HQ and then receive deposits into his personal account of up to $13,000 from European or American sources. Al-Sayyad also admitted that Palestinian Authority militiamen, far from preventing the Netanya attack, encouraged him to carry through with the suicide bombing.
