I'm not smart enough to short, margin, put, or run for cover. I just buy what I think is quality, hold for a couple of years, and then see what I want to do with what I have. I don't think MSFT has made a mistake in their handling of this case, however, time will tell. I think the one thing this case has done is convince the MSFT team to go court the politicos. Lot's of other people seem to think as you do, which is why the stock has dropped. All I need to do is make 7.5% a year, after adjusting for inflation, and I'm ready to retire in 10 years, or less, on a very nice income.
