Iraq holds more than 112 billion barrels of oil - the world's second largest proven reserves. Iraq also contains 110 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, and is a focal point for regional and international security issues.

* I suppose we should say 2nd largest producer if and when wars stop in Iraq. Some say Iraq may surpass Saudi Arabia in the near future to become number one, but Russia has found a lot of new reserves. The US I think is in 8th place. Something like that.
